Helping and giving back to others is who she is, and connects to everything that she does.
She has been a ‘care bear’ since the age of 8, when she used her earnings from selling lobster bait to local fisherman to help put food on her family’s table.
She grew up poor – experiencing emotional poverty takes a toll on people – But she wouldn’t change it for the world. In fact, it was Mandy’s family struggles that taught her about herself and the world around her. Most importantly, it taught her to respect everyone – no matter their age, race, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic or educational background.
Mandy is grateful every single day that her success enables her to help these amazing organizations and many others!
