Helping and giving back to others is who I am, and connects to everything that I do.
I’ve been a ‘care bear’ since the age of 8, when I used my earnings from selling lobster bait to local fisherman to help put food on my family’s table.
You see, I grew up dirt poor. I experienced the great toll emotional poverty has on people – But I wouldn’t change it for the world. In fact, it was my family’s struggles that taught me about myself, and the world around me. Most importantly, it taught me to respect everyone – no matter their age, race, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic or educational background.
I’m grateful every single day that my success enables me to help these amazing organizations and many others!
